Bajra, also known as pearl millet, is a small-seeded grass that is grown as a cereal crop, animal feed, or human food. It is a member of the genus Pennisetum , and has been cultivated in the Indian subcontinent since prehistoric times. Bajra is a significant crop in the semiarid tropics of Asia , especially in India. Developing nations produce 97% of the world’s bajra, with India being the largest producer
